Iveco Gearbox
Iveco fit a multitude of different transmissions in their range of vehicles. The smaller & lighter range such as the Iveco Daily now take predominately the Iveco 5 & 6 speeds using Iveco’s 5s300 and 6s400 and the later 2835.6, 2840.6 As you move on to the mid-range vehicles, Iveco for many years have elected to fit their own series of gearbox produced in France by Fiat Powertrain. These include a 5,6 and 9speed assemblies, which have now virtually been phased out, they have turned to ZF to be the provider on the assembly line where they now fit the ZF Ecolite, AS Tronic and in the latest vehicle the ZF Traxon Transmission. The heavy end of the Iveco truck line is fitted with solely ZF with them being the first major O.E to take the ZF AS Tronic. Also still popular in the tipper range and the tractor unit market is the ZF 16s181 and the ZF 16s221 units and the ZF Eco 4 series of Transmission. All the Iveco gearboxes supplied or reconditioned by us are put through their paces in our dyno test facility ensuring trouble free installation and operation. All gearboxes are supplied with a full 12-month warranty both parts and labour.
Iveco Differential
As with the transmissions, Iveco still produce their own axle assembly which is fitted throughout the lighter range of Daily’s and also leads into the mid-range where the 75 E15 and 75 E17 take the assembly where the differential is built into the axle housing. The Iveco Eurotracker also uses an Iveco hub reduction product but the rest of the heavy vehicles take the Meritor axle, such as the 130,140,153 and 177 and the later Meritor 17X series mainly fitted with diff lock depending on the application. Our Differential workshops are fitted out with the latest equipment ensuring all our differentials are built to exacting standards and specifications.
Iveco Power Steering
Power steering has been a major part of our product range for a number of years and with the popular units fitted to Iveco being ZF and TRW. A full service exchange system is available. Being a safety critical product, our Power Steering department is equipped with the latest dyno test facility allowing us to fully test all units to O.E specification ensuring trouble free installation and safe operation.
